Questions You Should Ask

We’ve compiled this list for you because we want you to be completely comfortable with the cremation provider you select. While we believe that CremationOne is the best in the area, we invite you to learn that for yourself. Give us a call – ask us any one, or all, of these questions.

And then, call up other area providers and see what they say.

  • Do you adhere to a code of cremation ethics?
  • Have your crematory operators been certified by a recognized organization?
  • Do you perform your own cremations?
  • If not, who does the cremations for you and where are they located?
  • Can I tour the cremation facility?
  • Do you have stringent verification procedures in place to identify the body prior to cremation?
  • Can the cremation be witnessed by a family member or designated individual?
  • What is the average time between receiving the deceased and the completion of the cremation?
  • Do you have refrigeration facilities to hold the body prior to cremation?
  • What is the procedure to track the body through the cremation process and verify the identity of the cremated remains following cremation?
  • How will the cremated remains be returned to me?
  • What is the policy regarding holding of the cremated remains after the cremation is completed?
  • What is your policy in regards to disposing prosthetics, artificial hips, knees, or pacemakers?
  • Will you give me references of other families who have used their services?

This is not a small decision. We want you to confidently make the right one for you.

Call us. Then call at least two other cremation providers. You’ll then have all the information you need to take the next step.
